This camping ground is a wonderful project which combines camping, general events and barbecues, rural activity, tourism and production of agricultural products such as olive oil. A total of over 30.000m2 land, of such 6.400m2 are used for the camping facilities. All is located in the Almarajes area, in the municipal area of Málaga, which is a transition area between the Serranía de Ronda and the Guadalhorce Valley. Close to the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park who won the EDEN Award as a European Destination of Excellence. The location is only 55km from Málaga airport and Málaga city. The area is well known for nature lovers and hiking, surrounded by villages such as Carratraca, El Burgo, Alozaina and Yunquera. The land is currently divided into the following: Agricultural Use of aprox. 23,600 m2 which is destinated to around 300 olive trees to produce ecological oil and an area of cultivation of cereal and legumes. A building of aprox. 72 m2 serving as reception and restaurant, a well with 100m drilling depth for irrigation water, a water tank for irrigation built with reinforced concrete with 300,000 l capacity, an intake of electricity and drinking water, a camp site of aprox. 6,400 m2 fenced in entirely, offering about 109 places for camping, 27 sites for tents, 8 sites with electricity for motorhomes and overall 29 parking spaces. Currently built are the mentioned Bar Restaurant (aprox.72 m2), bathrooms and toilets with hot water (110m2), a laundry room, a private pool with filter, a large terrace with a garden with automatic irrigation. Also a total oxidation treatment plant for sewage discharges and a municipal water tank with a capacity for 60,000l.
